As it turned out, Kallan had completely misunderstood the teacher’s directions.

At a later parent-teacher conference at which I brought up the subject, the teacher’s eyes grew wide with disbelief.

Poor Kallan with her worries pulled from the air.

I am so glad that part is behind us.

Kallan is back to being herself.

I like regular sassy Kallan very much.

I love the different approaches to Valentine’s Day cards that Kallan and Maj took. It speaks volumes about their personalities.

Sounds like Valentine’s Day is a big deal in this country (where I come from, kids don’t know or care about it; it’s more for teenagers and adults).
