Pipes, broken windows, upholstery. I can still vividly remember the feel of car seats that were more duct tape than vinyl sticking to the backs of my legs in the sweaty Michigan summers. Our first apartment was covered in duct tape because, I guess, that was the landlord's choice of fixing things. The place I remember most vividly was the duct tape around the kitchen sink drain. I, too, used to hate duct (what I forever thought was duck) tape... that is until it started coming in a wonderful assortment of colors, especially purple, of course! What I find hard to believe is that with Mark's love of gadgets, you don't have one of those robot things... wow, you must really find vacuuming meditative that you don't have one!
