First.
Want to be on my Christmas card list? Check it out.
Second.
It’s Sunday! Yay!
New Featured Bloggers!
Three kick-ass Moms.
Or Kick-Ass Mamas . . . I noticed after I selected these ladies that they are all Mamas.
Kmama at The Daily Dribbles
Kmama sent me this link a few weeks ago, in which she discussed her younger son’s epilepsy diagnosis. She talks about being panicked and afraid. But the post is really about strength and love. It’s awesome.
The post I am featuring here on Pretty All True is about her decision to be a full-time working mom. It is hard for me to believe that we are still having this discussion . . . moms are moms, and we need to stop judging the decisions that moms make on behalf of themselves and their families.
Kmama is one of the most accomplished and balanced women I have met here in blogging world.
Plus also? She sent me an email once encouraging me to sex-text with Mark.
Love that.
Rebecca at Musings of a Manic Mama
I love Rebecca’s tag line: Ramblings Of A High-strung, Laid Back, Type A, Fly By The Seat Of Her Meticulously Planned Pants Stay At Home Mom.
Isn’t that awesome?
Check out this post Rebecca wrote about learning to resolve things like a grown-up.
And then check out the post I am featuring, in which Rebecca discusses the experience of the last first. Rebecca has two little boys and I have two bigger girls, but I so understood that feeling. The feeling of witnessing the very last first time that something will happen in my life.
Happy sighs.
Holly B. at Midwestern Mama (Musings and Ramblings of a Midwestern Misfit)
Holly sent me a link to this post about masturbating monkeys.
I was going to link that post, but then when I went back over to check her out again?
I found this ho-stabbing fabulousness about the television show 16 and Pregnant.
So I am linking that post instead.
Holly B. is possibly insane, but she is definitely hilarious. I was on Twitter the other night and this random bit of awesomeness scrolled past me . . .
From @MidwesternMamaH . . . Madonna can blow dogs for quarters as far as I’m concerned. Was never a fan.
Snort!
Love that.
People?
Go check them out! And then stay a while and look around. All three of these ladies have awesome stuff all over their blogs.
And as always, their blog links will appear on the right hand side of Pretty All True for the next week.
Under Featured Bloggers.
Duh.

I love every one of these! Amazing how we have the same taste.
16 and Pregnant? LOVE THAT SHOW.
You should also check out Teen Moms. same channel, same girls, a little older.
I do not watch 16 and Pregnant on a regular basis.
Only once in a while, when I am left all alone and need to feel all schadenfreudey.
16 and Pregnant is awesome for that.
Totally awesome.
As is Holly’s post about the show.
I was all giggly.
And wow, how did I read all these, comment on all of them AND become the first commenter of yours? yay! Special day for me. And the fastest fingers in the west. Which you can take any way you want, but I was mostly talking about typing speed.
Hee hee!
Sunday afternoon is not a big commenting time.
And these featured blogger posts never get that many comments, hopefully because people are taking their comments over to the blogs of the featured writers.
Yay!
Sunday afternoon is my “leave me the hell alone and let me read my blog” time. Which means lots of commenting. My H always asks what the hell I’m typing because I have a typing speed that is about as fast as the average person talks. just clickety click click over here. Kiddo is with her Dad so she’s not up in my grill all “what are you playing, mommy?”
Time to not only read, but comment too.
Well, that?
Is awesome!
As I type this, I have four children in the background all screaming.
They are playing a very loud game and screaming is required.
Obviously.
Thank you so much for featuring me. I’m speechless, touched (teary-eyed even), and fucking ecstatic all at once. You really don’t know how much this means to me. You are my favorite blogger out there and to have you feature me is such a huge compliment.
Thank you again. Love you!
Awww, lovely you.
You are all kinds of deserving.
Your posts are fabulous.
And so are you.
Awesome ladies!
I know, right?
Thanks, you!
Damn you gotta tell a bitch they’ve been featured.. or we end up learning about it on the street. .. much like I learned about sex and the Easter Bunny. Shit that will undo years of therapy.. but I digress.
Thanks for the feature!!!!
Love Ya Back….. and front too. ;)
I have had no time on Twitter today at all.
I was going to tell you.
The street is very efficient at information dissemination.
As it turns out.
Love you, babe.
Serious love.
First, I really need a button and clearly ‘working on it’ (for the last month) is not getting me anywhere.
Second, I am followed by a mama who writes about masturbating monkeys? Uh, fricken do-over, please? That’s just all kinds of unfair.
Third? Aw, gee, shucks. *Kicks rock* This is just the bees knees!
I TOTALLY high-fived hubs when I saw I was one of your featured bloggers today. Giddy, I am! And I love that ‘Last Firsts’ is the post you chose to feature. It is definitely one of my favorites.
Thank you.
So I just wandered around the blogs of the other two featured mamas – holy fuckity-fuck I am in good company!
I feel honored to be featured with these fine ladies.
They are fabulous.
As are you.
You ladies are a fearsome threesome.
Snort!
Yes, you need a button.
Mark made do with a piece of your background when I couldn’t find anything better. Get on that!
Holly is fabulous, but so are you.
Your post more than holds its own.
As do you.
Big love, you.
Big love.
GREAT featured bloggers! I love knowing that I can connect with all kinds of FABULOUS bloggers through you! With your featured blogs and your amazing readers, I am really starting to get immersed in the “Blog World”. I love it! Thanks!
I have been reading Kmama for two years now.
She made me strong. I was starving for a mom who worked full time and blogged about it. She has said those forbidden words:” I like going to work”
Again, I found her in a time of need, when I needed someone to tell me the feelings I have about NOT staying home are OK!
we have been friends ever since. Thank you so much for showing others her talent.
P.S. And also? She lead me here! And from here I went to Nigel( sigh, so good), and from Nigel to Marian and CDG…
Oh, I love a good string of connections.
That your string includes Kmama and Nigel and CDG and Marian?
And then me?
I am all happy sighs over here.
So lovely.
